Certified in plant based nutrition from Cornell University and trained as a health coach through the Integrative Institute for Nutrition, I combine my passion for nutrient dense foods with 50 years of experience in the kitchen, a background in Chemistry and an awareness that to sustainably change the way we eat is a process that is ever evolving and sometimes requires nurturing and guidance….
I specialise in plant based eating, and gluten free cooking and baking, Many people suffer nutritional imbalances on the vegetarian/vegan path simply from lack of knowledge, I was an omnivore for a signifiant portion of my life, so I know how to cook almost anything well and am very interested in helping people who wish to continue as omnivores more healthfully, and vegetarians or vegans as sustainably as possible. All said, I don’t believe in labels, except sustainability. There are ways to proceed to become a more holistic and sustainable eater that will enable us to have greater joy and success, and to feel like we aren’t giving anything up, but rather gaining satisfaction, mastery, and joy in living sustainably with ourselves and the planet.
